Training Log – Weightlifting Practice

Deload week.

Going to take advantage of coaching that I have now and brush up on my weighlifting skills. Let’s see how this goes.

Bar Warm-up.

Power Clean from Hip 5 @ 60kg, 5 @ 70kg, 3 x 5 @ 80kg

Clean Pulls – 5 second concentric then explode 5 @ 80kg, 5 @ 90kg, 5 @ 100kg – these are awful. Even with this low weight, my abs, quads and lats were screaming.

Squats 5 @ 220, 3 x 5 @ 308

Swiss Ball Mountain Climbers 3 x 10 each leg

This workout wasn’t super hard, but it was challenging to get into the proper positions instead of just throwing the weight up.
