Coaching – A lot of athletes are very good at working hard and very good at not working at all. Once you get to the higher levels and want to really reach your potential, it is important to be able to rest when needed, work a little, work a medium amount and work very hard. All of these are learned skills and behaviours that are needed to get the most out of an athlete.

Training – Deload this week at a perfect time. I am absolutely swamped with work, school and travelling to a clinic this weekend. I like training but it is nice to have a lower training stress load line up with a week where I need all the help I can get.

Education – It never ceases to amaze me, no matter how many times it happens, how much longer most things take than you expect them to.

Personal – I got through most of those tabs from last week btw….

I finally found a pair of jeans that fit! For those of you that know me, this has been an issue. Sarah always calls my pants, and especially jeans, fat man pants. I can never find ones that fit my ass and legs that aren’t basically MC Hammer pants. Well the day has come and we finally found a pair. I believe they are Buffalo brand and have some sort of stretchy material in them. These will suffice for the 4 times per year that I wear jeans.

Miscellaneous – Why do people do the same things over and over and expect a different result??? Yeah yeah, I know that this is Einstein’s definition of insanity…which I guess I am exhibiting because I always ask this question and for some reason expect a different answer, or an answer at all for that matter. Anyways, my original question stands.
