Jordan Foley B.P.H.E., B.Ed., B.A., CSCS Guelph, ON, Canada

Jordan is the Strength and Conditioning Coach for the University of Guelph Gryphons Football Team, Triathlon Canada NTC Guelph and Assistant Speed/Power Coach with Speed River TFC.  He is also an instructor at Sheridan College in Brampton, ON in the Human Performance Training Program. Previously, he was the Strength and Conditioning Coach for the Hamilton Tiger-Cats, Canada Basketball Senior Women’s National Team and the Head Athletic Performance Coach at Upper Canada College in Toronto, Ontario.

He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association, Precision Nutrition Certified, and NCCP Track and Field Coach. Athletically, Jordan played numerous sports growing up that lead to being a member of the Men’s Varsity Rugby team at Queen’s University from 2003-2006. After finishing his rugby career, he turned to competitive strongman and powerlifting. In strongman, he has finished 3rd Nationally in the lightweight division and 4th in the Ontario open division while also acquiring a Provincial record in powerlifting.

Academically, Jordan received his Bachelor of Physical and Health Education and his Bachelor of Arts in Health Studies from Queen’s University and his Bachelor of Education from Nipissing University. While at Queen’s University, he served as a Strength and Conditioning Coach for the Men’s Rugby team. He is currently enrolled in the Advanced Coaching Diploma through the Canadian Sport Institute and pursuing his Master’s in Physical Education through Memorial University of Newfoundland with research in the area of Characteristics of Expert S&C Coaches in Canada.

His career has included work with Guelph Gryphons Football; Hamilton Tiger-Cats of the Canadian Football League; Triathlon Canada NTC Guelph; Speed River TFC; Canada Basketball Senior Women’s National Team; Basketball and Rugby at Queen’s University; Basketball, Volleyball, Rugby and Soccer at Sheridan College; and Football, Hockey, Volleyball, Rowing, Soccer, Swimming, Rugby and Cricket at Upper Canada College.
